Big Daddy Black Latigo Strop
Just received my big Daddy Strop from America got screwed a bit by british customs and the post office. Am still a newbie but have just stropped my three razors and have to say Im impressed for what I paid all my razors have come of the strop clean and sharp much better than off the dovo one Ive been using and my one razor is one I took pot luck on off ebay and there all good to go cant praise this strop enough just wish the vendor was closer.

Thats star shavings strop I think. Ive had great luck with them and currently own their 2" and 3" They have a good product and great prices.

That's great news mate 'cos I have two on the way downunder!
One for me and a gift for a mate along with DOVO Bismark Razors.
I did heaps of reading in this forum and searching online and found Big Daddy to be the way to go... with my fingers crossed.

I like the ide of at LEAST a 3" strop. I remember as a kid the strop was about that wide.... Of course when I was a kid, the Rocky Mountains were just beginning to get large. Rocks were still soft, and dirt was new!

I have been using their (Starshaving ) 3" Big Daddy English Bridle leather strop since May . Works well as far as I can tell - keeps my razors sharp . They have a good deal on their Latigo 2 1/2 strop :
2 1/2" Wide x 28" Long "Big Mama" LeatherStraight Razor Strop
I haven't used any other strop (well Whippeddog's poor man's strop ) for comparison - but for the price I feel it's a great deal .
