(Beginners ) Jumbo sized Paddle Strop made at home for $10 bucks.
Strop Paddle is made from solid oak and some raw hide. Just use some spray adhesive and I've also applied some green paste for polishing on the other side.
Dimensions are 24" long x 3 3/4" wide x 1/2" thick
Material cost $10
I will do more of a finished job by drilling a hole in the handle, just as soon as I find my NEW drill bits!
I will also smoothen out the handle as well.

Nice job! I keep telling my self that a paddle strop is the next thing I'm going to make. Then I find more razors at the antique store and spend all my time and money restoring them.

I know, I bought the material and took me a week before I got around to it. Now I can't find my dang drill bits to finish it!

Nice strop. I have a question. Where do you buy the leather? I might be interested in trying it myself.
