Here is a project that I've been working on for the last little bit.

I've collaborated with a company here in Toronto called New Magway. They set me up with a flexible Iron sheet and a .20 mil high powered magnet with vinyl siding.

I purchased some 3M Super 77 from a local shop (and man did I ever dislike working with this glue....what a pain in the butt.)

When I was at the cottage over the Easter weekend, I cut the paddle, sanded and stained it, and rubbed about 5 coats of Tung Oil into it before buffing.

When I got home I sized the Iron sheet for the paddle, and then backed my SRD hard felt CrOx and my Premium IV (which had twisted when it was in my noobie hands a while back) with the magnet. Cut to fit, and redrilled the holes. Now I have the option of going full length modular with the IV if I like. I have since placed it back in its handle and hanger, and the twist has been taken care of.

It works well for the CrOx, and the size and weight of the paddle act as a bench strop here in my apartment.

Have fun checking it out. I'm really proud of this one. Name: Homemade paddle.jpg
