A QUESTION
Can suade be used to make a strop? Ive never seen one but it seem like it would be good for paste or spray,or even instead of canvas. Can it?

Thanked: 1195I don't see why it wouldn't work. I think it might be better as an intermediary between the linen and leather, or as you pointed out it could be nice for the application of pastes and sprays.

I have a paddle strop I made with suede to use after my pasted strops before my wool strop and it works good it just has a lot of draw to it
