Thanked: 114How to use all four strop surfaces?
Sorry if this has been covered before, but what's the best way to rig a two component strop (such as my SRD) so I can paste the two inside faces without having to take the unit apart?Said differently, if I paste the backside of the webbing, how do you conveniently rig the strop so that the leather half is out of the way when using the pasted side of the webbing?

Thanked: 15Lay the strop on a table, leather side up, if you are right handed, the handle side goes to your right. With your left hand, open the strop up, and back over itself. Hold in place with your left hand, strop with your right hand on the table surface. Stropping using the table is a good way to make sure the strop is flat. Remember, little to no pressure on the blade, make sure it's flat, and the spine of the blade never loses contact. Go slow, and take your time. Others have recommended putting a towel under the strop when using it on a table.
