    Default A Strop strap

Being a noob, I wasn't wild about screwing a hook in the wall to hang my strop from. Came up with an idea that has worked out better than I could have imagined.
Normally it's hung off the door knob, but when I am working on one, I can hook it to the back of a dining room chair.

    Thanks.
I do key fobs and such from the 550 cord, so the strap was made from stuff I had on hand,

I like that, mine is just clipped to a piece of leather string tied to a towel rack.

Nice if you like complicated... I just use a length of leather lace.
