Default Is this strop any good?

Hello, I got this strop from my father in law, it was his step dads. As you can see it has some serious cuts in it. Have tried using it, and it doesnt seem to help. So I have been using the case my TI came in and it has been working well. I know I need to buy a strop, but finds are a little tight right now.

That is a great antique! No longer a strop, IMHO. Display it! ...get it on.....Tom

It is nice looking, it says koken bs co. mnfrs on one side New MooseBrand on the other. The handles are made of actual beaver.

If it has history i don't know if i would use it and i would keep it for display, If it has no history it might come up with some sandpaper and some conditioner.

It would make a nice display strop!

It looks like it has a lot of little ripples in it too. I think if that were mine I would clean it up real good cosmetically and use it as a display piece.
