That's not a problem. I have a good strop, and if anybody want to by it and can pay more - they need to buy it
I was just wondering whether this is fake or not. And if it is nit - I prefer to buy it.

Thanked: 4942When you can find the old strops in great condition, I would always say to buy one. All that I have ever gotten in NOS condition have been great. Of course, they don't stay NOS long.........
Have fun.

I've never heard of a fake strop. There simply isn't that much demand that someone would go to the trouble of doing that.
Back in the day similar to barbers hones there were a handful of outfits that made all of them and they just put a retailer or razor manufacturers name on them which is why you see so many different names. Sometimes the actual manufacturer had their name on it but not always.
