Thread: Kanoyama strop

could anyone tell me what kind of this strop is?

KANOYAMA Kanayama Cordovan Razor Strop 600mmX66mmX3-4mm

the logo seems to be the same like on the ones from eastern smooth, but there is no 30000 or something else marked. also there seems to be another leather like in the 80000 version of eastern smooth. Is it the same quality of leather just from another vendor?

I have one just like it with the 3 on it. I think it's the same as the current 3000 or 30K or whatever they call it. That guy has been making these for some time and I guess he has used different designations depending on who he was manufacturing for.

I agree with what was said above. It is the 30k normal Kanayama strop but comes with the leather secondary.
It is made by Kanayama and the price is about $10 less than the 30k Kanayama that comes with the cloth/webbing secondary. Personally I really like the leather secondary on Kanayma to follow linen and then go to leather.
