Which side of leather strop to paste?
Hey guys, I tried doing a search and couldn't come up with the proper answer.
I have a hanging leather strop that I use as my regular strop. One side is smooth and this is obviously the side I do my regular stropping on; however the other side is "rough" and unfinished leather and I was wondering if I could apply CrO paste to it so I could flip my strop over when needed and do some re-touching to my razor.
Just basically wondering if the rough side of a leather strop is safe to strop on.
Thanks

As long as the leather is supple and defect free, there should be no problem.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
