    Default Oh what a lucky boy

    Today was like Xmas all over again when my Kanayama 85k and 3" Tony Miller arrived today. However they will remain unused until I'm confident I won't mess them up!

    Well, congratulations, it would be hard to imagine it possible to get any better strops than that

    Congratulations, you recieved two very nice strops. Enjoy and it is a good idea to wait until you feel confident
    to use them. Keep us posted. Hopefully you have a practice strop.

    smart guy waiting untill you are confident enought to use them, i used an old belt for the first few weeks untill i knew the motions well enought to use my strop.

    the kanayama is a good strop, tried it but to expensive for me, have 2 TM that I'm very happy with. I also used a practice strop in the beginning, glad I did ;-)

    Yes the Kanayama was ridiculously expensive, especially when I has to pay $100 on top in import duty to UK!

    Need to get used to the barber cut style as well.

    I think it may be a few months before I pluck up courage to use it!

    WOW, $100 import duty!!! Glad I dont have to do that here in the US
