Default How about the Mountain Mike Strop?

Have any of you tried the Mountain Mike Strop. I don't live very far from his shop and I was thinking about heading up the mountain to pick one up. Any advice?

I have the 2" MM strop from classic shaving. It took a lot of time to break in and wipe off the wax, but it has turned into a great strop. It's a soft, thick latigo. It has a heavy smooth draw; a lot heavier than the draw of the SRD latigo.

So, yes it's a good strop. But be prepared to spend many hours wiping it down and breaking it in.
If you want a ready-to-use strop with a decent, but not too heavy draw, then I recommend an SRD Premium 4 english bridle strop.

Considering the size of paddle strops that aint bad, if iit is a hanger it seems to be somewhat shortIMO.
