    Default Fromm strop

Has anybody had any experience with the Fromm strop? is it any good? I have one, and it seems that the edges curl up slightly, which I feel would mess a lot of things up. I'm still new and not getting the best shaves and i'm not sure if i should be blaming my razor, my technique, or my strop...
But I can usually actually see a gap between the razor and strop in the middle while stropping. dragging the razor more diagonally helps sometimes, to the point where I can't notice, but I feel like there's a better option...

    BananaJack,
To my knowledge, From bought out the Illinois strop. I have always liked the Illinois strops — for the money — and never had problems with them. Oh, sure, the workmanship on them doesn't win a prize, but the strop still works. My favorite of the group is the Illinois No. 127.
