Got my new Tony Miller
My new "Old No.2" strop came in the mail yesterday! I have been wanting one of these for a long time and I'm thrilled to finally have it. I haven't used it yet but it looks great so far.
The leather is thick and heavy and very supple. The surface is a very pale color and luxuriously smooth with a slight velvety feel to it. The linen side has a "soft" feel.
I might not get to use it till tomorrow or monday. I'll update then with more info and hopefully some pics.

I love all 6 of the strops i bought from Tony years ago, back before he put his logo on them... they just have the horse head and a "1"
the problem is when you make a product of such high quality it is years before it needs an upgrade.... it hurts the bottom line but the customers really appreciate it.

Good news indeed, I have a few different strops but it seems like my TM is my preferred "go-to" strop. I'm sure you'll get years out of it.

Used the strop today for the first time. Love it! Really, it had such a great feel that I can barely contain myself. So smooth, and I got distinct feel from both the spine and the trailing edge. I felt and heard the edge change, that's when I knew to stop. So much better than my old dovo strop
I had a nice shave after w my Boker
