    That horse head stamp is available at Tandy leather.
    You can see the outline where the stamp was "double struck" - indicating it was stamped with a hammer and not a press.
    What you have there is a very nice home-made strop.

    The quality of this strop is amazing, who ever made it on his own did an incredible job.
