if you have those leather and felt pads pasted, how do you avoid grit contamination?

Been honest with you for this kind of leather I don't pasted them. The only thing I do is spray the felt with the diamond solution. But speaking about paste I do belive that if you cover each pasted felt or leather separately and then put it in a plastc bag as is shown you will not have any issues.
