Thread: New Dillon strop

I have only been straight shaving for about 6 months or so and bought a cheaper entry level strop to get started. After building my proficiency and getting to the point I would not nick my strop, I decided to look into a new strop. I came across a very dedicated guy just getting into the strop business. After talking with him for awhile he really took care of me and even added a couple touches that really personalized the strop for me.

I really was in no hurry and actually developed quite a correspondence with Mr. Dillon as the project progressed. Mr. Dillon spent a lot of time finding the best leather available for making strops and mine is the nicest Latigo. These strops are custom made and can be tailored to your individual taste. I have no affiliation with Dillon's Hammer & Anvil Custom Strops other than being a customer and developing a friendship along the way. I very seldom write posts about the products I buy but I thought I would make an exception in this case.
