I would do the saddle soap but doing the sand paper would be a little extreme. The Kangaroo leather don't have pores like cow or horse, so there is a better chance that a good saddle soap washing will clean it good. Besides it was .10 CBN, the finest dust, and only for halve a stroke, so the contamination was minimal, maybe beneficial(?). Can't see the dust anyway. Double O
