SRD Roo strop
How many of you guys have this strop. Looks very nice and tempting. May have to pick one up.

I have one and could not be more happy with the choice. Thin and very strong leather.

I would say less than half the draw of latigo. I use leathers ranging from very smooth and fast horsehide to Nowegian cowhide by Scrupleworks which draws much more than latigo. As a new member here I took a suggestion to try SRD's modular paddle that was designed by Lynn. The modular allowed me to try many different leathers making it easier for me to select my favorites when ordering hanging strops. Another advantage of the modular strop is having it close at hand when I am honing. I can use felt with CrOx and on to which ever modular leather strikes my fancy at that moment without getting up from the table.

Much less draw with bridle leather initially. With use and daily palm rubbing it begins to develop a medium draw but still nothing like latigo draw. I should add that I generalize about latigo. There are variations in draw depending on the maker of any particular latigo strop.
Hope that helps.Bob

Take a look at the strop listings on SRD. I do not know but they may list the piece you need. There will be a member here who can give you a heads up. Is your TM a 2.5" or 3"?
