Question Instructions for Kriss Kross Stropper?

    Hello

I recently purchased a KK Stropper Razor Sharpener for my husband for Christmas. It seems to be in good working order, and the leather looks and feels good as well. I have read through some of the posts here in the forums about how the parts work and have managed to clean it up and test it.

What I haven't been able to do is find a copy of the instructions or manual anywhere either scanned and uploaded from someone online, or to purchase separately from the stropper itself.

Does anyone happen to have instructions they would be willing to scan and email to me? I would be so very appreciative- my husband is just getting into the "art" of shaving, so this little gadget will be a fun addition to the various things he has been looking at and starting to collect as well as use.

Thanks so much for any help!

Well. Firstly, I feel it was one of those things which worked better than nothing on the blades they had back then. You inserted a blade and cranked the crank. it stropped one side, flipped the blade and then stropped the other. It is easy to see how to insert the blade and then you crank!
Fast forward to now, the leather on it is old and hard. The mechanism is probably ok, since most never got worn out.
Just did not work in the days of cheap and free blades. Even today, a fine Personna blade can be had for a dime or so!
A cool collectable. Folks are fascinated how it works! JMO!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out".
    I rest my case.

Here's a video of one being cranked - doesn't look like it has a blade in place (SE razor blades), though, but you get the general idea of how to use it:

Here's one with the instructions stamped on it - bit fuzzy, but clear enough:

Thanks to you both for your posts. I have seen the video, and actually do know how to make it work. I am interested in the actual instructions (or a copy of such) more for two reasons, 1. To read how to get the darn back off as I have tried to do it based on what some other posters have suggested and can't get the thing off, and 2. So I can include the written instructions with my husband's Christmas gift, as I know he would appreciate it.

Thanks again for the help and any help anyone else might have too
