No Handle. Means it will either be leather like a barbers grip (the strop is just cut square at the end and is held in the hand) or it will have a Dee ring or some such, to loop a finger or two in.

Funny thing about handles on strops. Growing up, and watching the barbers strop their razors, they never had handles. The pro strops were 2 1/2 wide and like 23" long. Strops for the house were shorter and had handles. I thought them inferior. So when I came to SRP , and bought a TM horse with handles. At first I would grab it in front of the handle, but soon tried the handle and liked it.

Using vintage pro barber strops without handles I soon found I preferred the strop with handles. I get a consistent pull all the way across the strop and don't have to worry about the grip, without handles, putting a slight twist in the strop. I still use one or the other and compensate for the none handle grip, but handles are cool IMHO.
