Default Where to get just linen strop

I have a new Modular Paddle Strop ( Lynn's ) that I like very much but would like to buy a just linen strop to go with it. can anyone tell me the best material to use and where to get it? The only one I've ever used was something like furniture webbing and I didn't like it at all, I'm thinking of something more on the smooth side.

I'm sure if you emailed Neil Miller or SRD or any of the websites that sell strops you could convince them to sell you just a linen strop.

Strop linen is not that easy to find. SRD does not have linen but their felt is perfect for the modular. You can purchase a piece of the finest linen available from The Superior Shave. Jarrod has replacement pieces of Torolf's linen for his "Scrupleworks" strops. I added a hanger set to one end and love mine.

And in thinking a little more about it I am thinking you may negate the effectiveness of the linen by fixing it to a stiffer magnetic
surface to make it work on your modular strop. I could be wrong but I believe the flexibility of linen used as a hanging strop is key to it's best performance. Anyway, good luck.

Just this last summer Cangooner acquired the linen from Tony Miller.
Edit: That was for a matching Tony Miller 3" hanging strop, not a modular one.
