    You'll do quite well no matter which strop you choose from SRD. I can only comment on The Natural & Red Latigo as those are the 2 I have...great strops, nice to look at and very well crafted. The hard felt is mainly if you're using pastes or sprays for touch ups etc. If this'll be you're main strop I'd suggest getting the webbing or linen material for everyday stropping and using one of your old strops for pastes or sprays down the road. Hope this helps
