I just bought a brand new Dovo Gentlemen from SRD and before my second shave while stropping the strop popped off the plastic hook I was using and now my razor has five nicks in the blade even though I kept it in hand the whole time.

I would like to avoid this in the future and am looking for a way to secure my hanging strop. I purchased a paddle strop but do not like it one bit.

I cannot use any kind of drills or anything that would be permanent.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
