    Default How To Super Glue Strop Nick?

    Wasn't concentrating today and nicked about a 3/8" wide scratch about 3" from the end of my Big Daddy Strop-Doh! Fortunately, the top surface of the hide is still there, so I can CAREFULLY superglue it back in place, correct? Thanx for any detailed answers. Guessing that the most important thing while supergluing is not to have any excess glue extrude out of the repair, correct? Thanx again for any specific info!-Gearhead

    I've used cotact cement with success to glue a flap that I got from a miscue. If you're going to drink don't strop was the lesson I learned from that. Have a damp paper towel ready and if any surplus comes out the edges just give it a quick wipe. I haven't used super glue on a strop myself but I've read guys recommend it.

    Quit drinking back in 1993, so that should not be a problem!
