Default Trying my hand at a loom strop!!

Well I have always wanted to make my own strop and also to purchase a loom strop so I figured why not just kill two birds with one stone. I was wondering if anyone has a loom strop that they would be willing to take detailed pictures of so I can have something to guide me? I need to figure out what materials, how the parts go together, and other things of that nature. I already have a good idea of how to create it, just wanted to see if I could get a bit more direction. I will for sure post up pictures when I finish.
    Thanks
    Cary

Did you have any luck with this? I came upon your post while trying to plan a way to do the same thing.

dependant on the type of wood, only the natural oils the wood contains and a few coats of Ren-wax,nothing more is needed.

Loom strops, yes they are very nice to look at but do they have any advantage over a Bench Strop. Either felt or leather??
