    Default Help with strop

I just got a felt/english bridle strop in from Fendrihan and I was curious if I could Crox 1 side of the felt and leave the otherside bare? it's about 1/4 inch thick and the website states there very good for pastes and won't leak or "retard" from using them... figure i could crox 1 side and leave the other bare so I wouldn't need to go out and buy a balsa block for pasting since the piece i got from whipped dog was warped and had a hump in the center.

    Cheers

I use diamond slurry for felt. I have a crox on balsa strop. I dont see why you couldnt use it on felt. Im sure someone will chime in momentarily.

so you have diamond on 1 side and bare felt on the other? Doesn't seep through to the other side or anything? that's my main worry.
