I have a vintage strop coming in soon, and depending on how dry it is, I'm going to try using glycerin and see how that goes.

I have used 100% ecological coconut fat on a couple of vintage strops with great results.

Thanked: 0Coconut oil has a very very long shelf life and is an excellent skin moisturizer, so I am not surprised it works well on strops. I use it everyday myself for cooking, so I must try it on one of my strop one of these days.
