Hi all,
im looking for a second strop. I travel a lot for work, and I want to have a strop to leave in my suitcase. Preferably a 3" or wider? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I would go with the SRD paddle strop in your case. You get some wool felt for sprays to touch up the edge, 1 scruff leather, and 1 SRD premium I leather. You can always order other leathers and linens as needed/wanted, and they already have the magnetic base on them; all you need do is pull one off and slap another on. I believe it is 12 or 13" x 3"
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Thanked: 0You da man! Nope wasn't looking at that one, I am now. Will order and keep at home and just travel with my small strop, or should I do it the other way around?

I used mine for sprays and travel, drop it in a big ziploc bag and you're set.

I have the SRD paddle and that's what I have been using for a long time. However, recently I took my kangaroo strop and was impress how it travels and you get a better performance than with the paddle IMO. Weights less and takes less space in the suite case than the paddle. Just take some nylon cord to tied to a door handle or something! Double O

I use a paddle I've had for years. One side plain leather and one with CrO. it does the job for traveling. The SRD unit has some nice options though.
