    I received a couple of meters of this hemp webbing. It seems to be a nicer weave than some I have seen and seems to be a very useable stropping material. I have some spare, so if anyone wants a sample, pm me.

    I use a 2 in cotton belt fabric that I've pasted. It works very well. The 3in seems as if it would be ideal!

    It is funny you posted this now. I was recently wondering about it myself. After reading that linen was made of a plant fibre (flax), it reminded me of hemp. After doing a little reading, I found that they are also made from the same part of the plant known as "bast fibre".
