Thanked: 552There is a leather working tool specifically for that.
WHen I bought my leather for a home made strop, I asked the vendor if he could bevel the edges for me and he was more than happy to do so as he had the tool for his own use. No charge!David

Thanked: 0That was fortunate? Did the edges look cut or branded or sanded?

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 0Thank you Richard I had just found that after the Tandy heads up from pixelfixed.
Ive bought the beveler and I'm looking for Edge Kote alternatives in the UK.
I feel that my inquiry has now been answered perfectly. Thanks J
