    Oooh, you have the same kind of sink as Mantic, are they a common design in the US? Almost seems to be designed for shaving gear!

    yes, very common. the style is called a "jack and jill bathroom" basically two of everything for a couple. so what you are seeing is my half of the sink/counter area which is about 10-12 feet long.

    (I did find it rather disturbing that you only use a clockwise rotation making lather... I got carpal tunnel syndrome just from watching it )

    I think the sink question referred to the shelves in the sink, not the double sink, correct me if I'm wrong.

    I have double sinks in both bathrooms, no fancy shelves though

    No, no, not that. Those molded in ledges IN the sink. Probably originally intended to park a bar of soap (when people still used those).
