I finally got to watch you vid on honing, but again w/o sound till tonight. Nice job! Other than the hones I have on hand the only other difference is the speed at which I hone. I don't hone as fast as you show till I get over the 8k hone.
I really like your Vids! Thank you for taking the time to make and share them with us.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Awesome Job
Brad,
That was a wonderful set of videos you did. Thank you so much for sharing. I learned quite a bit from this. Wish I would have seen before my first restore on an ebay special W & B all by hand. Definitely need some power tools.
Thanks!

Thanked: 1Brilliant! I haven't even got my own razor yet and I want to start refurbing. The craftsmanship is great! We've really lost that in a society where everything is mass produced by machines.
I think it would take me 100 times longer though since I'll have none of your power tools which I'm sure make things a LOT faster!

I can't thank you enough for these videos. I happened to watch on the same night I put in an order for horn blanks, and was able to change the order just in time to get two-inch-wide plates instead of inch-wide. I learned that I need to cut both sides of the scales from the same plate.
