Thread: Funny Gillette video

I actually think the first video was very well done and contains a lot of really good information. Aside from the suggestion to use their gel and their multiblade razor, that is not too far off from the tips I'd give to any newbie with a straight. (I would also give more tips on using the straight, of course.)

I'd say the same for the "making the tree taller" video too. Yea, silly euphemisms, but it probably had to get cleared by all the PR people.

So, why all the bashing?

You're correct. Gillette is showing the basics of wet shaving. It's funny IMO because the guy acts so fruity while looking in the mirror masturbating his face.
Also, I don't ever remember gillette teaching the wet shaving stuff before. They used to just say to slap the gel on your face and that's it. Atleast from what I can remember.
