Thread: Bye Bye Beard. I miss my razors.

Ok, haven't shaved in two months. I've just trimmed the length a few times when it got unruley.(wife complained).. Made this video for a few buddies who can't believe I shave with a straight. I figured I'd share it here since I owe this site for my success.

..As a side note. My Beard grows in ridiculous directions so if your wondering why I'm doing alot of things that seem weird or wrong, It's most likely grain related. If you are new to straights, I wouldn't reccomend using this vid as a tutor at all.. Like I said, my growth pattern is really weird.. Also, I'm very comfortable with my razor and am going way too fast on the second pass. I was rushing for the video's sake, and was suprised myself how reckless I seem at times. But I guess confidence has come with much practice.

To all you pros, I was also suprised at how little resistance and irritation there was cutting this full, around 1" long, growth. Normally, if I skip a few days and shave with longer whiskers it's uncomfortable.. but this wasn't at all.. and NO razor burn, bumps, or irritation afterward.. Anyway, enjoy..

You missed a spot under your chin there lol
