Hello, Jeremy,
I like your video. The demonstration is comprehensive and the overall quality quite good. I especially like the eye contact framed in your the natural and friendly delivery. Good show.

Thanked: 485I know this is an old thread, but...
I got some Arco today, along with some O Melhor. I shaved using the O Melhor, but, being a little bored, decided to 'practice' lathering with the Arko (Yes, I should get a life)...
I rubbed the stick directly on my face; I've never used a shave stick before, but I'd seen my father use one when I was a child. I wet my face and dipped the stick in a little hot water and just rubbed away, bearing in mind I'd already shaved, so didn't have any whiskers to create a rough surface. The stick left a very thin, faint film on my face. I thought there was no way that I'd get a decent lather (I don't normally face lather, in fact I've inly face lathered maybe twice). I dipped the brush in a little hot water and started swirling on my face. I actually enjoyed it. I liked the exfoliating experience. In just a little while, after a few more dips of the brush in water, I had a great lather. Normally, I never dip a brush in water (when bowl lathering), I normally dribble water into the bowl from my hand, but this worked really well.
I'm tempted to buy another stick and grate it into a bowl using a mouliner (I think that's the right word; one of those little mill things you use for mincing meat, etc). I say 'another stick' as I love the label so much I want to keep one in its natural state with the label! :-) Then again, it works so well just rubbing the thing on one's face, there's probably no reason to grate it!Last edited by carlmaloschneider; 01-27-2012 at 03:46 AM.
