Love the idea of the mover's blanket as most who have experience with buffers...it's not if, but when a buffer will snatch a blade out of your hands. Nice set-up Charlie!

    +1

I made an apron to protect myself and only a mat on the concrete floor to (hopefully) protect a potentially flying razor.

Need to see if I can figure out a way to protect some more

Thanks for sharing Charlie, really cool setup!

The blanket does work well for catching stuff. It is hanging out from the wall the thickness of a 2x4, I kind of pull the bottom part that is on the floor out and make the blanket drape there when I use it. I used to have a piece of old carpet hanging there but changed it out for a blanket because it was easier to move and sweep around.

I've got a couple of baldors in different speeds for buffing tobacco pipe stems and tattoo machine frames. I haven't tried razors yet. I've had enough tattoo machine frames hit me in the middle of the chest, or go zinging by my head, to be wary of buffing razors .
