Thanked: 272Making western style Kamisoris
Hello,
i thought it might be interesting for some of you, how i make my western style Kamisoris. It surely is not the only way to do it, but it works fine for me.
The video description is in german, so if anything is not clear to you dont hesitate to ask.
Video 1: The forging. The steels used are carbon steels with 1-1,5%C, 1.3505 and 1.2210 and sometimes my selfcasted steels:
Video 2: The grain refining process (not the hardening) and the rough outline grinding.
Cheers,
Ulrik
