    Yeah, thanks. Cosmetically, its pretty much unnoticeable. I don't want to damage it because its a beautiful razor; 28mm wide with practically zero hone wear and original scales are in damn fine condition. Its going to be tricky to hone. I am guessing a ton of light pressure rolling-X's?

    That is what I would do. Maybe some circles when setting the bevel. Hitting it at the heel, middle and point.

    I wouldn't mind betting that's been re-ground being so thin. Short of reshaping the nose, just see how it hones up.

    I don't really see any other signs of a regrind, although, it is really really hollow ground....

    Here is an older FBU, a For Barbers Only, and a Celebrated FBU. Note the grinds. None have been reground. Not sure if the pic is clear enough but maybe you can compare. One way or the other, hone it, shave and enjoy it.
