    Default balance

So in a perfect design should the weight of a set of scales and wedge allow the razor to balance at the pivot point?

Just like most tools, a razor should probably balance to where you hold it... Or you could just check a ton of Vintage razors and most new production razor and find that they balance to the Tang...

Better yet try an unbalanced one

The TI, Wapinenica and Dovo SS scaled razors come to mind

That's funny. I am trying to make a new set of scales to balance my Wapi. It came from Shaving Style with the biggest set of wood scales ever. Once I work out the bugs on this set I have another with the original scales thats next. I was trying to place where I balance it. The tang makes perfect sense for the reason stated
