    Default Camel Bone?

Hello fellow shavers! I have a set of camel bone blanks that I am hoping to turn into scales for an old straight I am restoring. They are dyed red, and if anybody has any experience working with camel bone, I'd sure appreciate any and all advice. Thanks for the help!

Stabilized camel bone is great. My experience with unstabalized camel bone is that it more prone to split while pinning as compared to other types of bone. As long as you are pay close attention while pinning I think it is a great material.
