restoring scales,they look new
any one know how ALTIMA55 on ebay gets the scales so shiney. He does good work but those scales look brand new.
Thanks for all the help you people have given me in the past.

Mr. Keyes does do an amazing job. The dremel can do some good buffing on scales with a little Maas. I love to see what he's offering each week because he never fails to lay out a bunch of super freshened-up razors. I bought one a nice Torrey a few weeks ago myself.

I'm sure if you send him a note, he'll let you know.
I've had several "discussions" with him regarding strops (he likes the Illinois 361) and other things.
I got my first three razors from him for under $100 shipped - all were shaving shapr and looked brand new. One of these razors is a $35 John Holler 1/2 hollow 5/8 that is one of my best shavers.
Truly a great vendor and a great person to deal with.

Thanked: 4942He always does a nice job. If I remember correctly, he actually takes the scales off all his razors and cleans them as well as the blades and then repins them back and hones them. Bob has been a member for a while and a good guy.
