Anyone knows LEA greaseless compounds?
I've been trying long and hard to find greaseless compounds in the Netherlands, so far to no avail. The closest I got was to a wholesaler who didn't want to supply to private customers... Some time ago, I did come across Maxdorf greasy compounds, ordered them and sent them back. While listed as 100 grit SiC, almost no metal was removed and the compound would barely stick to the buffing wheels.
To avoid another disappointment, I would like to know if anyone knows anything about LEA greaseless compounds that I can order at hollisonsupply.co.uk. Their prices are good and shipping is reasonable, I would stick right to the budget I set myself.
(I know Glen, amongst others, uses Formax, which is available at Caswell Plating, but their shipment is too expensive.)I want a lather whip

Thanks for the link, Glen, but 23 pounds (or 27 euros) per bar is way over my budget. Besides, they are 9 euros per bar in America! I did get a quote from Brownells: their shipping is 50 dollars, which amounts to a total of 74 euros for 4 Formax compounds, close to the 70 for the LEAs.

No problem, and yes. I searched along with another member for a couple of weeks and what limited options we found were expensive or would not ship to the Netherlands. Still, I cannot believe it's not available! I would think plenty people use this.
Perhaps I get lucky and find someone who's tried the LEAs.I want a lather whip

Thank you, luckypip! Their prices are very good, but shipping would be around 42 pounds
Would be cheaper to buy Formax from the USA.
I contacted LEA and even linked to the videos of Undream in the Wiki. They replied that their compounds should indeed be up to the task of restoring the hard carbon steel of razors. I'm getting closer! I'll let you know what I buy and my experience with it.I want a lather whip
