Yeah, dont think I have the skills to set the bevel though I may take niftyshaving's advice and sand down to good metal and see what's there before I have someone spend their time and his money on a razor that wont shave.

Not sure, it has "Warranted Steel Razor Ground To Shave Germany". Has a logo that is a circle with what appears to be a bent arm in a short sleeve shirt hold something that has a full circle on the right and a 3/4 circle on the left.
