cork drum sander, bad idea?
So hand sanding is killing my wrists. Dremel sanding is out of the question. So I thought, what if I make a drum sander out of a cork.?
So I wrapped a cork in double backed tape and applied a 1000 grit piece of SP. Made a mandrel out of a nail. Lowest speed on the dremel and bam!
Cleaned up an old wosty that was a throw away I had lying around. Only issue is the cork is too close to the bit I can only do one side of the blade face.
It will work on a reversible drill, and it will go slower too.
So, what say you?
