Default Need new scale a boker New York straight razor

Size: 54.3 KBI replaced the scales with replacement wooden one from dovo. The problem is the tang is thicker than a dovo. When I close the razor it hits on one side. Help?

You may be able to adjust them by furthur peening, what most do not realize.one size will not fit all, properly scaling blades is an art, good luck.

I already tried that. The wedge needs to be wider. I would rather replace the scale than modify the one I have.

I don't want to mess up the nice brass pins from dovo. I can use the scales on another razor. Just thought someone is into making scales

Just a word of advice. Technically it is against the rules to post "Want to trade or buy" in the forums so this thread is on thin ice. Name calling is equally unacceptable.

To the op, can you show some pics of the Dovo scales in relation to the razor trying to show us the issues that you have going
Without a point of reference it is pretty hard to try and find you a fix..
