Thread: Sanding antique scales

I got a Max Voos Flic today, blade great (FACTORY EDGE!!!!) scales are yellowed a bit, and have some stains and such.

I was wondering how does old plastics (celuloid bakalite ect.) take to sanding/steel wool?

any other solutions to clean them up?
