Doming pins and washers
hi folks,
I have some what of a question for some of you guys. I have been looking over the restoration and creation area here in the workshop and have see a lot of super good looking razors with almost perfectly domed pins and washers. My question is how do you dome the washer like you do the pins? If my question is unclear I could probably explain with a few pictures from some threads.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 635What I did was drill a shallow hole in the head of a hammer. First I peen one side of the pin with the other side in the recess I drilled and then turn it over resting in the recess and peen the other side. This tends to round off the head of the pin and washer for me.
