    Default Noob Razor Question

I found a dubl duck razor in an antique shop for 20.00 bucks. Been looking for something cheap to see if straight razors are for me. After researching on the net seems like this is a desirable brand the razor seems in pretty good shape to me no pitting, scales are not bad, pins are tight, there is patina on the blade but no rust or pits. The edge on the blade seems good too the question I have is there is a small hairline crack about 1/4 of an inch long running from the point inward about 1/8 of an inch below the spine was wondering if this was a big enough problem for me to pass on the razor. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

If it's cracked...hairline or otherwise...I would pass. There are plenty of other razors to be had...many shave ready examples right here in the classifieds.
