    Default 3000 grit Sand 'Paper'

Picked this up yesterday at Walmart. Used it on a Poly pearl scale and wow does it work! It is not really paper at all, more of a sheet of foam. I'll report how it does on steel after this evenings progress in the shop.

Use it on lots of stuff myself. Muskeman showed it to me and been using since. It works great on steel also.

I like it, It works really good as prior to polish step on most scales and plastic brush handles.

How is the jump from the 1200 to 4000 or do you fill the gap with some 2k wet dry?

You could always buy the 3000 separately

I honestly never do much of anything over 1200,by that time I consider it to be polishing. On wood I go to Rottenstone and oil,on Ivory I use white compound.
